Larval development
The feeding schedules used for A. japonicus (mulloway) are comparable to those used for S. ocellatus (Soletchnik et al., 1988). The mouth of A. japonicus is large (275— 300 microns at day 2) and there is a possibility that first-feed larvae may be able to ingest newly hatched brine shrimp, eliminating the expensive production of rotifers
