Features
This product contains the necessary nutrients for abalone growth (vitamins, vegetable protein, minerals etc.). The feed has strong attractants, is easy to digest, ensures rapid growth and high survival rate. Yhe product does not contain antibiotics, hormones or preservatives.
Application
- Spread evenly throughout the tank/pond. Clean the pond every 2 to 3 days. Adjust frequency of cleaning according to temperature and intake level. Increase the frequency of cleaning when temperature is high or when feed residue is high.
- Set the feeding based on the temperature and do not over feed.
- For a shell length of 5 to 50 mm start with 3 to 5% of abalone weight per day.
- For a shell length over 30 mm, feed 2 to 3% of animal weight per day.
- Observe feed consumption closely and adjust feed percentage accordingly.
- Keep records of data, including temperature, so that feeding can be standardised for the site.
- For abalone
- shell length less than 10 mm, use Abalone feed # 0
- 10 mm to 25 mm, use feed # 1
- For shell length over 25 mm, use feed # 2
